ACTING WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS

TUESDAYS FROM 8:30 - 10:30 P.M.

 

 at The Playhouse - Moreno 80, San Isidro

The workshop runs from April to July
and from August to November.  

Join and discover the enjoyment and challenge of getting up on a stage, the fun and the demands of the “play” in play-acting.  

We explore the process of acting and of theatre production in general, through scene study, presentation of monologues or songs (viewed from the acting perspective), theatrical and relaxation exercises, freeing the body and playing with voice and language.   

 The workshop is for those who have an interest in theatre, and some experience  or training.  The requisites are that you speak fluent English, and that you be flexible enough to do the exercises. 

The participants are  a heterogeneous group of people of all ages, from 18 to 70

FEE: $ 175 per month

Coordinator:   Mr. Hugo Halbrich
Mr. Halbrich has a BA in Theatre Arts (California State University, San Diego) and an MA from the University of Connecticut. He trained in New York with Raul Julia, Harold Clurman (one of the founders of the Actors Studio), Mitchell Nestor, Joan Lange. He has also attended workshops with Eric Morris and Augusto Fernandes. Mr. Halbrich has been involved in over 70 stage productions, as well as TV soap operas, commercials and films.
